April Intrabartola Appointed Vice President of Eastman Cooke Construction
NEW YORK, NEW YORK, September 20, 2019 – Eastman Cooke, one of New York’s leading general contracting and construction management firms, has named April Intrabartola as its Vice President. Ms. Intrabartola will be responsible for enhancing the company’s business development, strategic planning and brand and talent management, as Eastman Cooke strives for continued growth in the industry.
Prior to her new role, Ms. Intrabartola served as Director at the firm, overseeing the corporate brand, employee communication and the implementation of new financial strategies to increase yearly revenue. Under her leadership, Eastman Cooke has also developed effective HR policies while engaging staff around important training initiatives. While executing a successful revamp of the company’s website and social media platforms, Ms. Intrabartola helped to build brand awareness and strengthen relationships with clients and community partners. She has been with Eastman Cooke since 2009, joining the firm from the ground up as an Executive Assistant/Assistant Project Manager before rising up the ranks in the administration.
An early career in education fueled Ms. Intrabartola’s passion for giving back to the community. As a special education teacher and supervisor on Long Island, she helped to develop essential programs for children with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges. Ms. Intrabartola currently provides knowledge and expertise as a member of the Board of Trustees of Family & Children’s Association (FCA), a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children, seniors, families and communities on Long Island. She also supports several charitable organizations, such as the Kathi Smillie Nursing Foundation, ACDS, JDRF, City Harvest and New York Cares. A member of the Professional Women in Construction (PWC), Women Economic Developers of Long Island (WEDLI) and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) New York, Ms. Intrabartola has served on the Board of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and as Chair of ABC’s Regional Leadership and Events Committees. Her many industry accolades include SmartCEO’s 2016 Brava Award and Schneps Communications’ 2017 Power Women in Business Award.
